You can use any version of xampp
So yes you can use that or use any apache server installed on your pc

Ok so everything is going great but I have an error when I try to run the emu. It says, "Could not load file or assembly 'MySql.Data, Version =6.2.4.0, Culture =neutral, PublicKeyToken =c5687fc88969c44d' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Make sure apache and MySQL services are running and xampp is on and active.
