Thats epic, Can't wait to see the whole thing done. Keep up the good work!
Cheers man.

So far in the admin cp I've done:

  • Site Settings
  • MySQL Configuration Settings
  • Add User

The rest should take long, it's more or less just a copy and paste job.

I've already made a forgot password, it was one of the first things I developed. It's in the screenshots in the first post I think.

Woo! Shall be released within a day or two.
If ever I get paid, I'm pretty sure I can use this for my site. You know... maybe make a small social site, or something that revolves around a theme or subject.

You should have submitted sUS as a community project and put some time on it! :D It's really awesome!
I tested alert, too. It appears when you browse on the site... and once dismissed, it wouldn't appear again. If the user you are to alert is offline, once he is online, he'll get the alert still.

Sample:
You must be registered for see images attach

It's worth trying sUS. Waiting for v2, some suggestions are as follows:
  • ability to upload photos, post status and links
  • on installation, select whether to use MySQL or MySQLi
  • able to add content boxes automatically through Admin CP

Yes, it's a one off alert that will be shown to the user. Check inc/useralerts.php and you'll see that once the alert has been shown to the user, it will mark the message as read and won't show it again.

And I've only just released V1, still doing some small changes then release v1.0.1

You should write stuff based on the CodeIgniter framework, I use this for everything I do.

Once you learn the framework, it's EXTREMELY powerful, and saves a lot of code writing.

I'll probably take a look into it, never bothered with a framework like that before. :p
