It wont, they didn't have a solid userbase in scandinavia, they had around 300 players online tops the last couple of months before they announced they were closingI hope habbo.se comes back

Nope, well I highly doubt it anyway. I'm guessing the way they've set it up all their purchases are "donations".Surely there has to be some legalities with closing a game and taking away peoples 'virtual furni' they've spent thousands on?
Most likely something in the T&Cs that state that any virtual property/materials are 'owned' by Sulake and people have the right to 'play with them' obviously more legal jargon than that but I guess that'd be the basis of it.Nope, well I highly doubt it anyway. Fansites doesn't really support Habbo, they are just there, if Habbo dies they die. Simple as that.I doubt they'll close, they have consistent support and whatnot from fansites, etc. Not to mention, Habbo may be dying but they still have loyalty from their users whereas retros lack that.

I beg to differ, Habbo is still a VERY large community, with all of the 10+ hotels they have. Most the people who still play habbo now and actually generate Sulake money are people who played years ago and are too rich to quick without feeling bad about quitting because of all the time spent getting wealth on habbo..
I've read their Habbo's whole T&C and that is pretty much how it goes. Most likely something in the T&Cs that state that any virtual property/materials are 'owned' by Sulake and people have the right to 'play with them' obviously more legal jargon than that but I guess that'd be the basis of it.
Sad really, how little protection consumers have after filling the pockets of corporations for years.
Looking on the clubpenguin link provided by OP it would seem CP are offering to give refunds for CP membership which is nice.
Rather Habbo than those script kiddies acting as developers on their shitty retro.I beg to differ, Habbo is still a VERY large community, with all of the 10+ hotels they have.
So irrelevant but whatever. There's like 13 year olds who make retro's, let them have their fun!Rather Habbo than those script kiddies acting as developers on their shitty retro.

Most of the newcomers to Habbo, only plays retros because they can have free HC and nearly unlimited values, so no, thats not really gonna change a thing by putting back dicemasters. Maybe for some of the old players like me, but not really for the new ones.So irrelevant but whatever. There's like 13 year olds who make retro's, let them have their fun!
If Habbo brought back a lot of the old things such as casino's, and calmed down their ban filters, maybe more people would play though.
I understand where you're coming from, people come in crowds though. How I see it would be casino's make an economy, they're the only people in a game who give a damn about values. I know a range of people who would start playing Habbo again if you could gamble without getting banned. Since people follow that they'd be really no need for an economy on a retro, yeah people love to get free HC and credits but other than hanging out with your friends and creating your odd snog room, events and rares wouldn't really matter since there's no economy. It's like banning casino's on a retro and saying no one would care. ANYWAY, coming from the topic. IMO they won't close, the community is too large. Most of the newcomers to Habbo, only plays retros because they can have free HC and nearly unlimited values, so no, thats not really gonna change a thing by putting back dicemasters. Even though Habbo is expensive it was still fun cuz you actually had to work hard to earn some stuff, which made it waaaay more fun. Most of the newcomers to Habbo, only plays retros because they can have free HC and nearly unlimited values, so no, thats not really gonna change a thing by putting back dicemasters. And basically wasn't owned by a bunch of noobs, that would close the hotel within a month.Even though Habbo is expensive it was still fun cuz you actually had to work hard to earn some stuff, which made it waaaay more fun.
Won't happen for another 5 years minimum. Habbo Brazil imo is their main source of income, with over 13k+ in online users.they're going to close one day, they all do sadly, and when they do I'm going to eat popcorn and read the article.
