The file you usually have to upload is called holodb.sql thats all you need to upload. Maybe emu is messed up. Try a new one.

I don't have an iPad but I have used one in the apple store. I also reccomend the air hocky app. Description: Easy to control with different levels of difficulty. 2-Player is supported by multi touch.
