What's disgusting about a piece of silicon? It's a nice CPU! It's all around good performance, good for playing games and good for multi-threading tasks. :)
If all you plan on doing is gaming, then for the love of Allah do not get Threadripper, please. It's possibly one of the worst purchases you can make, if gaming is what you do.

I have it, bought it on Steam, the game is a bit finicky (like, you might a mod for a better save system - easy to install anyways), the main problem is performance in towns, no matter how good someone's PC is the fps drops to 45-50 fps when inside a massive town but outside towns the game runs...
