[SUGG] iOS / Android "stuff"

I'm sure some people on this forum develop for Android or iOS, so can we have a node to support it - or even get people into it? Can we also have a section for like "Cydia Tweaks" and "Android Mods, etc"

I haven't seen any apps for it in Coders Paradise release sections. I assume when people start releasing stuffs it would be a good idea, but I don't see it working out well, especially as Cydia is not really legally developing a iPhone app.

My opinion, at the moment, says it would be a dead section.

Jailbreaking your device isn't illegal, nor is using Cydia. What IS illegal, is third party apps to receive paid apps for free.

Apple sees it as abusing their IP. It is not everywhere illegal, no. But in some places it is.

The amount of people developing such things on here are very few, not enough for it's own section.

Yes, then let's also open up the porn section for public so we might get people in to it.

There aren't even that much real developers on here working on things such as HTML, PHP, C#, Java, etc. If people want to release their programs for Android etc - use the Coders Paradise section, like anyone else developing other languages do.

As Sherlock said there aren't enough people on here who develop for such devices id say 1 or 2 at max

Well it's what Wess said. There is no crowd that really keeps their selfs busy with Java ( Android / iOS ) Application development, there are people that really keep their-selfs busy with developing Java related things but those are way beyond Android related.

@Quackster is a pretty decent Java developer and so is Leon. But I don't ever think that Android application is ever coming to the front here.

The only person would be @Quackster I would imagine. Sure, we could advertise other apps on it, which it'll pretty much be, but it'll just be a dead & worthless section.
