Purchase a VPS, good start if you get the cheapest one then make your hotel. Portforwarding will make you end up getting hacked like what iSean said.

I also preffer you to hire some good staff people who actually do have experience at moderating and not some people who show that or say that they can but they'r actually gonna mis-use the tools.
