How to make furni show up without clearing cache?

Hi,

It gets really annoying when noobs on my hotel don't know how to clear their cache, therefore cannot see updated badges or furniture, I know hotels such as HabPlus and ZAP are able to do this but how?
Is it something to do with PHP headers? Please give me the code to do this.

Not possible. Only if you can apply version to the filename. The idea of cache is to load data faster when you already have seen it. And since it's Sulake stuff, you won't be able to do it.

Probably by changing the name of the furniture and edit the furniture data file.

He's correct on how it loads faster, but your best bet is to just refresh the furnidata, product data, external_Vars and external_texts, just call a random number on the end of each of theses using PHP, many ways to do it.

For your furniture just rename the folder and then when they reload (if you do what I said to the vars) the furniture will recache. !

Put something like "?<?php echo time(); ?>" on the end of furnidata/productdata

Put a link to a guide on the welcome message that all users see when they log on. Tell them to bookmark that.
