How to create a R36B Habbo Retro using XAMPP

Hey guys, I am SentimentalX a relatively new member to the Habbo Retro community and this forum specifically and ever since I joined here around 2 weeks ago I've learnt a wealth of knowledge on setting up retros. I've decided to contribute back to this forum by creating an exclusive series for it where I teach people what I have learnt on this forum. The first episode is public on YouTube to help bring users into Devbest and grow the community as the remaining episodes of the series will be unlisted on YouTube and can only be found through here. Nevertheless, I hope this proves to be a useful tool to all those out there who wish to further pursue Habbo Retros whilst they still have some thread of life remaining to them.

Thank you for your kind words, I would of never created this tutorial and moved straight onto the using IIS to get a retro online however I think this set a "base" understanding of what the files do and such and by creating this tutorial in the next one I won't have to go into a lot of detail on the specific setup and just tell users to copy over the files they created in Episode 1 and then edit out the localhost for your domain.

Yo! Thanks alot. I got it working, however, all furni's are just showing as black boxes? Any idea on how to fix this? Problem appears both in catalouge and in a room.

I followed the guide 100%. using XAMPP tho.

You must of missed a link for the furniture to not show up in your external variables or override variables. Once I'm in my PC I can add your discord if you require further help.

My tutorial which I'll post today/tomorrow shows you how to use IIS and a VPS to set this up. There are some slight differences in the process.

I have the same problem, I'm stuck outside the room and I my character don't get in the room.

It's easy, in your Window's clock settings, you need to change the decimal point from a comma to a full stop.

If you're struggling how to do this, just Google how to change decimal point in Windows.

Everything seems to work fine but I have an odd issue with the rooms.

My player seems to be stuck at 1 vector somewhere random in the room.

SWF's don't seem to be matched up or it's the decimal point on your Windows machine, set it to a "." not a ","
