They're doing what any of us would do if our ip was copied.
They're pursuing retros in a bid to regain their lost users and to stop the ongoing development of retro versions of their game.
Any company would do the same.

I'm half/half tbh.
Habbo for me is great fun if you have the time for it. Mainly for the economy. I love being one of them profit seekers and resorting to the bobbamarket for cheap goldbars, only to waste them in a casino!
Retros are much more demanding, especially this day in age where everyone seems to argue, boot and be mongs. That being said not everyones like that, there is some really chill decent people about. But the only real fun on retros is actually meeting these nice people(which is rare).

The new ceo is loaded with money and can afford to do it, the previous ceo couldn't afford to pursue so many legal cases
