xxamp port 3306

i'm having a problem starting the my sql it keeps saying:
XAMPP MySQL is already running on port 3306
Attempting to start MySQL app...
i have change the ports to 3307 and tried to Uninstall mysql service through command prompt using the following command.
" sc delete mysql " but the error is still there if anyone could help me it would be fantastic thankyou.

A program is props blocking the port(a) so check if it is. If it isn't I'm not sure but you can search google.

i can't seem to locate the program, i've tried everything including google just isn't working for me.

It's very much likely to be Skype which is blocking your ports.

hey guys, thanks for the comments i found out it was sam broadcaster s i was using port 3306 for mysql on there
