What's better PC or a gaming console?

What is better a gaming PC or a gaming console? Which one do you find the best? Personally I find a gaming PC the best, because it is supreme graphics, and runs like a boss! Post your views below!

Custom build, or buy a premade custom build PC - they're cheaper than Alienware.

We all know the answer to the question - PC gaming is far more superior.

You can hook up a controller to your PC and hook up your PC to a TV, so there's no reason to not PC game.

Gaming PC's are by far, better than consoles. PC's can be customized to anyone's specific needs, whereas Consoles are stuck in a factory-made combination.

Why?

Reasons for my answer:
- It has the best possible graphics & performance (PC hardware will always dominate )
- Multi purpose (text editing, porn and devbest)
- Mods & Tuning for games. (double the fun!)
- Various input/output possibilities. (music, programming etc)
- Much cheaper games. (great deals on games from Steam and Origin + Cracked games)

Reasons against my answer:
The only 2 things speaking for consoles:
- Price (about half of what a good gaming rig will cost you)
- Exclusive games. (not very often..)

By process of elimination it's a very obvious choice.

The advantage of keyboards over Controllers is that you have by-far way more keys and essentially commands to use and play your game. If you use a keyboard like a traditional gamer (Fingers on WASD and hand on mouse), gaming with a keyboard would actually feel more natural, IMO.

PC can use PS4/3/2/1 (adapter cables needed for the latter 2), Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Xbox. All you need is a receiver or a wired controller (Micro USB cable for PS4/3). I frequently play with controllers on my PC with GTA IV loaded with mods for drifting.

I think what makes consoles bad is that there is no way to change there Hardware. Your just stuck with the same thing until another slightly better one comes out.... I can't live like that! At least with a PC there is no limit to expansion.

I at one point was a huge xbox fanboy when the 360 had come out. However, not long after the release I built my first gaming PC - which is when I discovered I wouldn't go back. I like the better preforming graphics, the easy installation when it comes to installing new components, and the larger variety of things it can do with games. I also love having a "all-in-one" setting - My games, school/work stuff, programming stuff, etc is all right here.
