"Virus Scan Failed"

Hi, when I go to download anything of any kind, the download at the bottom of my browser comes up with "Failed - Virus Scan Failed". I've tried turning off my firewall because it might interfere with the download but it still didn't work. Anyone got any suggestions on what to do?

Doesn't say , I right click and go more information. Just comes up with a definition and the files that may be occurring it.

Eh yeh, kinda can't download one..

Windows vista/7/8 use the snipping tool. Search it. It allows you to take a screenshot.

Try turning off Windows Firewall, and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, try the following:

1. Open "Settings".
2. Click "Show advanced settings...".
3. Tick "Ask where to save each file before downloading" under "Downloads".
4. Try to download something.

Nope ;\ I'll try downloading a different browser and using it and see if that works. Because when I found out that it won't download on chrome I uninstalled chrome, and downloaded and installed on IE, so it might just be chrome...

Issue solved - Was just browser all along
