Update Command Plus

Hello,
When i use the update command it works, but after a few hours of the emulator being up it seems to stop working?
it's kind of a pain when i'm trying to make changes and not effect gameplay.
Does anybody know why? / ever experienced this?

Is it a particular thing you're trying to update where it doesn't work, or do none of the options work?

sometimes ive had an issue where ive entered something wrong for the furniture table or catalog items table and it doesnt allow me to update the catalogue,

I was just changing a furniture to be exchangeable into diamonds, so no idea why it isn't working.
 
did this again after my emulator being up for only 2 hours, anybody know why?
