If they offer in app purchases there will be lots of kids who are playing on iDevices connected to there parents account who will then probably buy loads of credits...
It's a good move by habbo

I think that this is an excellent move by Sulake. Habbo's target users are teens, and apps, especially on iOS, was the way to go. All they need now is word of mouth, and I think we'll be seeing a sprawl of new users on Habbo. Pretty excited myself, even though I stopped playing official Habbo years ago.
I dont think there will never be a word of mouth for Habbo. No body talks about it, it's just an internet thing.

It is interesting that they can fit it onto a device other than a PC/Laptop/whatever but I would never feel comfortable enough as I would be sitting at a computer.

On the short term playing, yes. If you are playing for hours, no.

Back when I used to play Habbo, I just got a cracked flash player plugin for my Android tab. I've always been able to use Habbo on a tablet. :p

Then either Apple or Habbo will get sued for the parents failing to just change a setting or 2 to not enable in app purchases.

No they won't get sued as the app will state it offers in app purchases...You stated the reason they WON'T get sued... for not changing the settings to disallow in app purchases...

It's a good move, but it's a shame that it hasn't done what they wanted. (Increased their visitors by 300%). And yes, they did say & expect that.

I find Habbo making it so you can play on IPad pointless when I think about it because if I cared to play habbo from a mobile devices I would download Puffin internet app. I think it was just a attempt to get more users obviously.
