Chassis: Lenovo D20 Thinkstation
CPU: 2x X5560 Quad Core CPU 2.8ghz (3.2ghz Turbo)
Memory: 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 1333mhz ECC RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro FX 3500
Power Supply: Lenovo 1000w PSU. This has 2x8 and 2x6 pin outputs for dedicated graphics cards.
HD: WD Caviar Blue 250GB SATA Hard Drive
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional Genuine 64bit (currently doing updates after re-formatting the drive)
Optical Drive: DVD Drive (However it is not plugged in right now so I don't know if it works. I never needed a DVD drive as I only use USB).

I do not know if I want to of course i'd buy a gaming GFX but is this a cood deal for a pc

I think it's worth the value since the computer I'm looking into has an intel i7 and 8GB ram and comes up to $400.

This looks a lot better than your original plan, just a couple of things though.

Why such an outdated graphics card?
RAM is fine, I would question why you need so much though?
DVD Drive, do you actually need one? I haven't had one in my PC for years.
WI-FI, you have a desktop and you want to use WI-FI?

You could probably sell the ram for more than what that PC costs. if especially if its 2 or 4gb sticks. Good deal definitely take it.
edit: just read the post, i'd still take it with 8gb sticks.
