The swipeUsers class will throw errors, or perhaps a function within it. You have the variable $username, yet it isn't defined anywhere in the updateUsers function.

Looks good, but I honestly hope you're not using standard MySQL, it's seriously outdated and it is close to being depreciated sooner or later.

MySQLi/PDO is the more secure and efficient option.
