Theme is changeable to any who makes it compatible with blogdown. And as I repeatedly said, blogdown isn't targeted for new websites, it target ones that already have a back-end panel and can then extend theirs to use blogdown's API for convenience.

The project has been renamed to give it an official name of "ribbon", a inspiration from the old "ribbonCMS" that was released here 3000 years ago.

UPDATE
API has been changed, so please read the WIKI on how to update your current application to be compatible.
