so my news articles work fine but the only thing that isn't working is on the homepage the picture behind it doesn't show up but everything else does? i have default images in my c_images > web_promos folder, but i do all the articles via navicat and not housekeeping

Check F12 (Developer Tools > Console). Check if the links are correct for the web promos.

i just noticed you said you do all your news from navicat. you might have had the path for the image wrong. it should be
/swfs/c_images/web_promos/newsimage.gif

i just did that, still doesn't work :S

you can verify that the path is correct by typing hotelurl/swfs/c_images/web_promos/newsimage.gif

but of course changing swfs to yours and newsimage.gif to the image

try placing your web promo folder in your skins folder /app/tpl/skins/habbo/web_promo/image.gif
 
actually try doing just image.gif if that doesnt work

Bran, the images you are trying to pull are not big enough for that box. This is the same issue I had. This is the reason I only use a small box.

Kak is basically saying what I am saying. Check what images you are using and go from there.

i'm not sure i'm just using this as a tester (below) and it's not working
