So I've been hyped for this game since it was announced, and finished it today after a weekend long grind.
In my opinion, the hype was justified. What an amazing game, and the story behind it is an work of art. The way they are hooking into the (messy) canon, but still write such an amazing trilogy on it's own, it's just perfect. You can really see they planned RE7 to 9 so wel ahead.
Besides that, the RE Engine is amazing. The gaphics are so good and the gameplay is so properly thought out and implemented.
