If you are too busy with school, why would start an emulator from scratch???

It would take a shitload of time.

Since I heard it won't be good free I just start out by saying this. Your not doing anyone a favor not even yourself by making a emu not knowing whether or not its truly stable or even if half the features work like their supposed to. Phoenix still has that one bug with the quests now showing how many days you were active or whatever and then the users of this emu already have to buy a vps and then have to worry about other payments just for the server. <3 <3 NO!

Well.. as I said.. "Habbo emulation should be free"? I'm laughing at that.. WHAT emulator is free that actually has EVERY SINGLE THING Phoenix has?

You can atleast add a plugin system, so people can add stuff to their emulator, I think that's what ItachiKM is doing with his closed source emulator.

Also, have you coded any in-game features, or are you just coding the backend things for now?

I intend to do that, a plugin system.. just too soon! I'm coding the backend at the moment, soon game-side features, I'm using a past release so I have to rely on packetlogs from 12/19/12. Also, opening up a BETA site. Well known people can register.. which means only people with developer experience.. so.. emulator beta/info will be up soon.

<3 <3 Closed source works just add a part to add commands in a folder called /plugins with only user commands in it <3 The emu will then load the commands from the mysql table

Loading commands from a MySql is very bad and you can't code commands in sql.

Best if you did a plugin system within C# and then storing the commands using a storage such as dictionary and such.

Also can you post or provide some non-generic code and valid code to prove this is not a copy. 


Loading commands from a MySql is very bad and you can't code commands in sql.

Best if you did a plugin system within C# and then storing the commands using a storage such as dictionary and such.
What I said was commands go in /plugins folder and in the source it loads commands from database and the mysql will have a table on the file location in which it loads that file.

Commands of course can be plugins but why would you need a connection to the mysql? If the command is a plugin it should have access to the main environments user data and such.

I didn't say it was C# and one does not simply make a scripting language? Unless your making a engine in C# to parse it and debug it.

basically it would have it done, I just thought in my fucked up head it would be easier to load the plugins from the mysql database. In the database it would tell where the command locations were so it would receive them. it could also just use all the files in the plugins folder if that mat easier.
