Math task!

x2 + 1 = 0

x2 = X in power of second!

My solution :

x2 + 1 = 0;
x2 = 0 - 1;
x2 = -1;
x = square root of -1;
x = i (imaginary number);

It's wrong, the square root of a negative comes out as undefined, you cannot root a negative number.
Either the question you gave us is wrong or you have to use a complicated formula..

Anyways , if the negative numbers cannot be in square root , that's why the x = i (imaginary nr.)
