I was prompted to upgrade my graphics drive the other day,
think I did it for WoW.
But I just thought of this yesterday, I had 0 lag on WoW. But I would lag incredibly on Minecraft that would be too tedious to play. Got on minecraft today, was so fucking flawless, exactly what I was looking for in a new pc.
So upgraded the graphics caused this?

Your old GFX card couldn't handle WoW? :l That game is designed to run on the shittiest of GFX cards.

Are you asking if upgrading your graphics fixed your lag on Minecraft, or if it caused it?

I never swapped out the physical GFX card. I was prompted to update it "Virtually"

This happens a lot on Prebuilt PCs because they're not running proper drivers, usually running drivers from the manufacturer (Dell, HP, etc.). Another good reason to reinstall windows the day of getting a new PC. They usually (always) have bloatware and old drivers.
