How to modify domain to redirect to /index.html

Hello, currently im trying practicing to setup my website on x10hosting.com before i redirect my real domain on it but when I link the domain that they gave me to test out with all the files it redirects me to error page. I have to manually type domain.com/index.html in order to get to the website. Is there a way I can change this

Ive looked everywhere on the CPanel to find where to put it but there is only one place. Thanks

the only main folder there is, is public_html. I put all my files there I cant find deafult.html

Rename your index.html to default.html

EDIT: Make a .htaccess file and add

DirectoryIndex index.html

and that is an error page. I also tried to find cgj-sys in the cPanel but its not there ffs

There was two htaccess files I just added
DirectoryIndex index.html to one of them and it works
