Personally I like it. Just need to lower font size and space the words out.

First one the text doesn't fit in
Second one looks like you copied and pasted a bunch of brick photos in and got too lazy to align them

The colour of the text on the first one is a bit too tacky for me, try and avoid using really bright and obnoxious colours, they generally don't look that great, and personally I'm not really a fan of bevel and embossing, but it's alright if you're just starting out.

As mentioned before, the second just doesn't seem right, pictures aren't aligned properly and the text just feels like it shouldn't be there. Maybe try using some more neutral background images (if you really want to), and pay attention to the small details.
