If you buy a windows server and make everything on there, you'll be able to open your emulator.

You'd rather spend over £400 pound on a new laptop than spending less than £20 on a Windows VPS a month?
Running a hotel off your laptop would mean your laptop would be on all the time (idk if you already do that.)
But getting a VPS would be the better investment for a retro. It would cost less and if you download anything with a virus, nothing would go wrong with your laptop. In my opinion anyway.

You can also run a VirtualBox with Windows inside it, you can use Mono and run the source of it like that or you can get a virtual server to run your emulator.
