I have an issue with changing the old catalog with the new custom one and wondered if someone please could help me fix this issue, and show me so I know what to do next time.

All you've got to do is replace the old files with the new ones and upload the SQL's, I recommend using Puffin's catalogue.

Well, could you be more specific?

what’s the actual issue you’re encountering?

have you checked dev console for errors in there, usually it’ll tell you what’s wrong and which file the problem is in

The new catalog is showing but there are not images of them on the catalog and some are just boxes

Then something is linked incorrectly, double check all of your paths are correct and folders etc are in the right location, use devtools to help you find out what's correct.
