Nitro / Morning Star Floor Plan Editor Disabled

Hey guys,

I haven't made a hotel since 2015. Set one up real quick using Nitro. For some reason the floor plan editor is disabled for all ranks.

I went into permissions in the DB and changed the value to 1 for the floor plan editor. Updated permissions in game and still doesn't work.

Anybody out there able to help? I appreciate any info you have. Thanks!

I tried that, unfortunately it didn't work.

I went into permissions and for each rank I set the value to '1' under "acc_floorplan_editor"
I also changed the default value for all ranks to '1' under "acc_floorplan_editor"

Is there anything else that can be edited?

Only other thing I Can think of is try settnig it to 1 when the emualtor is offline, its possible i reverts it back to 0 when tryng to do it with the emu on

Unfortunately that didn't work. Could something else in the DB be off to cause this?

To be completely honest, I have no idea. I'm just getting back into making hotels. If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

I need the most up to date hotel files out or the names of anything I need if it's not too much to ask. I know how to set up a hotel. I'm just not up on what's current and works.

I plan on doing this from my computer not a VPS. Just for me and a few buddies to play around with and bet. I've been using Vertigo Server, Nitro V1 with Brain CMS, and Morningstar 3.5.3. Having issues enabling the floor plan editor and not all the furniture shows up in game. The furniture boxes in the catalog are blank. Furniture shows up as a black box. It's like this for about 70% of the catalog pages.

I know it sounds simple but honestly, check dev console for errors. It’ll tell you the issue down to the very exact path & location of the file where the issue is.

Another recommendation since you want to be some what up to date, upgrade from Brain CMS to AtomCMS V2 - it’s a simple task to complete and will leave you open to future updates that you can upgrade to when the time comes.

It might also be worth joining the Atom Discord where a lot of the questions you may have will have already been answered & support is readily available if not.

I hope this can help you somewhat, as for the client UI, where did you get the files from, this will help us determine whether you’re using custom or not.

Honestly, if you’re just wanting it for local host then use jaowars habbo AIO pack. Very easy to install and also comes with a YouTube tutorial. Moving to atom is pointless considering you’re only hosting it for a few mates, it’s just wasting time mitigating to a different cms when you could be spending it doing something else.

I suggested atom because he was talking about being future-proof/up-to-date. If the problem with the floorplan is happening with a pack that you're using, I'd suggest as Boz said use jaowars pack - it works, I know this because i setup a local project using it to test.

However, if you do ever decide to go public - I would recommend not using a pack, and do everything yourself manually, so that you learn as you go.

As for the errors you showed, it tells you badge imager is disabled - enabling it should fix your problem, it also tells you the path for it, however I don't know if it's much use with an already set up pack, manual installation of everything will give you a lot more control over your hotel.
