I'm assuming he means from the time he loads the page, until he has successfully completed the captcha and submitted the form. I don't understand the fuss, it's not much longer than the old one, and you don't even need to type or read some obscure string.Wtf? It doesn't take 10 seconds, it loads instantly..
Ah, I see. I guess it could get annoying if you were doing it constantly but the majority of people should only need to do it once. Like you said, selecting pictures isn't hard - more exciting than trying to figure out some messed up text.I'm assuming he means from the time he loads the page, until he has successfully completed the captcha and submitted the form. Recaptcha is exploitable.Ah, I see. I guess it could get annoying if you were doing it constantly but the majority of people should only need to do it once. Like you said, selecting pictures isn't hard - more exciting than trying to figure out some messed up text.
It'll keep the fake votes away but it'll also keep hotels from using the service. If you ask me then I'd say that it's a good thing because I absolutely hate being forced to vote before I can load the client but whatever The list is looking quite empty today! 15 votes collectively from the top 3 hotels.Recaptcha is exploitable.
If you ask me, the captcha that you have now is unnecessarily long, but if that's what keeps away fake votes then so be it. Also, seeYou must be registered for see links.
While I realize that the new captcha will discourage proxy voting, if I were a server owner and users were complaining about the difficult captcha and I was ultimately losing potential users over it, I would stop using the service that was causing that. It'll keep the fake votes away but it'll also keep hotels from using the service. So what happens to the hotels, that exploited a thousands of counterfeit votes a dayThe old captcha was being exploited, resulting in hundreds if not thousands of "counterfeit" votes a day. This simply wasn't acceptable.
If you have any suggestions, other than complaining about ten seconds, I'd be glad to hear them. But there's no way I can use the old captcha.

You have to select one image that corresponds with the text, it takes five seconds; I literally timed it. As for "all those ads", I'm not sure what you mean? There's one ad, and that's above the navigation bar, away from the captcha. There's also one button, which is called "Vote". Are we seeing the same page?Number captcha was great.I personally dislike new captcha. It takes too much time and with all those ads and buttons really confusing.
Old version much better.
This is what the page looks like:There were ads all over the palce you could barely see the voting button and the captcha box was shrinked. It took me time to realise wot do i need to do.
Could you please explain to me what is complicated about this? and how it's worse? It actually looks complicated for the people who arent really common with retros, i do agree the former one was way better than this one
just type numbers and thats it.
First of all where it says click here, there are four boxes below, what are they for? kinda confusingCould you please explain to me what is complicated about this? and how it's worse? You must be registered for see links
