The old captcha was being exploited, resulting in hundreds if not thousands of "counterfeit" votes a day. This simply wasn't acceptable.
If you have any suggestions, other than complaining about ten seconds, I'd be glad to hear them. But there's no way I can use the old captcha.

Ah, I see. I guess it could get annoying if you were doing it constantly but the majority of people should only need to do it once. Like you said, selecting pictures isn't hard - more exciting than trying to figure out some messed up text.

Recaptcha is exploitable.
If you ask me, the captcha that you have now is unnecessarily long, but if that's what keeps away fake votes then so be it. Also, see

While I realize that the new captcha will discourage proxy voting, if I were a server owner and users were complaining about the difficult captcha and I was ultimately losing potential users over it, I would stop using the service that was causing that.It'll keep the fake votes away but it'll also keep hotels from using the service. I'm still in the Habbo community and from social experience I see that not many users come to a retro from a topsite, as it's mostly from social media sites and peer influence. With that being said, I don't really see the purpose of a topsite other than being able to brag that your hotel has more votes than another, which is more reason to not use it.
It would be pretty cool if a high-voted Hotel such as Boom or Habboon (@Sledmore ) would do a study to see where the HTTP referrer for new users were actually coming from.

But yeah, voting long if you have to do it once a day, if your doing it thousands a day then it would be long and that would also mean your a cheating proxy voting faggot.
100% Liking the new system. GJ @RastaLulz just ban the people who was counterfeiting votes.
You have to select one image that corresponds with the text, it takes five seconds; I literally timed it. As for "all those ads", I'm not sure what you mean? There's one ad, and that's above the navigation bar, away from the captcha. There's also one button, which is called "Vote". Are we seeing the same page?

)I only see one ad, and vote box is clearly labeled, and it clearly states "click here" on the captcha, which it then ask for you to click on one image, and you're done.

First of all where it says click here, there are four boxes below, what are they for? kinda confusing
when clicked on one box images pop up with a vote tab below, once clicked image well not me but others would think they are already done with the procedure but instead it reloads again..thats what i think about.
