Alright guys,
I've set up my localhost and I know how to add/access the files in my root directory, so I won't need help creating the content that will go onto the web server once I give my localhost a name, create an external bin path, and am running live on the web. What I don't know how to do is configure phpmyadmin to my localhost so I can get a working database and import catalogue/user information. Specifically, when I try to load apache, it says there's something wrong with my log file (error not access) and for mysql, a socket, a tmp sock in particular, is missing ( when i run through MAMP). I can load php pages, but only ones saved to my root document. If I try to load the standard /security page or the phpmyadmin page, it only appears in code.
Before I even begin to think about what kind of issues I may have when launching the client, I'd like to start by figuring this out.
Thanks in advance,
