Your variables are working. But guess what?

It was showing adobe because there was no SWFs to load. So it redirected to adobe thinking you need an update because you cannot view your SWFs...
Your SWFs do not exist. Also, you need to open the ports so you can connect to the EMU, i believe your on 30000 & 30001, so make sure there open. After that you should at least see 'Connection...' on your EMU
I can tell you, it is your db. Because the client receives an error from the EMU and redirects it to {url}/me because that's what it says on your client config. If it is an EMU error, then your DB isn't right. So i suggest you get a clean copy of the DB.

Try this:
Look at your CMS download file and compare it to the one you have now, and check if you have all the files. if you have all the files, then check each one of your SWF links in your vars and client config file. Don't say they are, because its clearly not...
