You can code a CMS in basically anything. PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc. Don't just assume it's PHP. There's so much going around right now.

It's a book. That teaches C#. C# is a programming languages that most of your habbotard emulators are made out of. It's a pretty good read. I recommend checking it out.
