Xampp trouble

Hey,

I've been wanting to make a hotel for some time now, but everytime I follow ones tutorial they say to tick the boxes 'Mysql' & 'Apache' upon installation. Obviously, I do it..
Once it's all downloaded it comes up with an error saying 'Port 80' & 'Port 3306' is already being use, when they aren't..

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Simple solution - don't use XAMPP.

DON'T tick the boxes, you only have to run them when you've started the xampp_controll.exe file

But just don't install them

Don't run the installs, also have you checked if nothing like skype or teamviewer is using the ports?

Also try using IIS or NGINX instead.

I just noticed when i went onto

You must be registered for see links

it said the site was running teamviewer, so i exited it, and it's now working!
