Xampp PHPMYADMIN Security,

Is there a way I can allow access to PHPMYADMIN to only certain IPs? So like localhost then say my 1 friends ip?

No. Localhost is on your computer, but say, If it's on a retro, they can do like,

http://[Hotel_link]/phpmyadmin

Yes it is possible like I said before you need to change the httpd-xampp.conf and put your ip and you friends ip.

Go to C:\xampp or the directory of it.

apache -> conf -> extra

Edit httpd-xampp.conf and on the bottom of the file you will see

Put

Allow from ::1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Allow from ::1 yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy

(replace xxx by the ip of you and yyy by the ip of your friend)

httpd-xampp.conf
The scroll to the very end, and where it has 127.0.0.1, and your friends IP under it, I think, not too sure though.

oh umm you could download xammp usb lite version so its portable and you can have parties have control over ur dbs

Ok open up your xampp folder then go to apache then conf then extra then open up httpd-xampp.conf then replace it with this:
