Xampp Error

What do you do when you download Xampp and starts it ...
Then click on MYSQL but Apache won't work !!!
PLEASE HELP !!!
It says its busy

It might be a port I had the same problem, do you have Skype?

If it's open close Skype, close your xampp and once Skype has shut down open xampp and it should work.

How did you fix the problem with your port thing ?

I found out it was my skype so I closed skype and re-opened my xampp and it worked fine, you using VPS?

you probally have IIS installed some components disallow apache to run with IIS, unistall IIS in control panel.

I don't although.. It's just a regular Windows 7 Home Premium computer

What i did is i upgraded my version to 1.7.7 when i was using 1.7.3 .
