Why have Apple not done this?

I know Steve Jobs hates stylus' (although the iPad Pro goes against that), but I thought he also hated buttons? Hence the iPhone only has 2 main buttons (being the power and Home button)

So I want to know why they've not made a similar keyboard for the iMac as they have for the iPhone, whereby the appropriate buttons show up only for the screen you're on. It'd be much easier for using Emojis. So in essence, it'd be just a plain looking board which is touch-screen and a digital and dynamic keyboard would display depending on what screen you're viewing

Because Mark's idea contains no buttons where yours contains one? Which is many more buttons than Mark's idea?
