Which way to go? .NET / Java

Hello, I will soon finish school and start apply for university studies. I want to work with System developments but there is two ways to go either with .NET or Java. I know both languages well, probably a bit more in the .NET library.
So to my question, what language should I choose to match the job market in the best way? What do companys want? Java or .NET developers or else either?

Java is very popular nowadays, think you should go around that direction.

Really it depends on what you want to do, what sort of projects you enjoy doing and want to face in your career, but as someone has already said Java is a lot more in demand, and in my eyes a lot more popular than Csharp.
