So I've followed all the steps to making the retro. I made it on localhost first to make sure it worked then i followed the same steps and did it via IIS using the "devbest special" tutorial on here. For some reason the website won't work? I bought a .co.uk domain and when i type in the website ( ) it just doesn't load and then i get an error saying the server has unexpectedly dropped connection or it fails to open the page? If i type in the vpn address in the address bar and press enter it directs me to dabbohotel.co.uk/index but still doesn't connect? What have i done wrong?

Make sure you don't have . or just . The "www" wont load the site, Remove that and it'll prolly load.

Loads perfectly fine for me using http:// . Did you just add the domain? You might have to wait a little bit for it to function.
I didn't think to try that but it does load perfectly fine if you use

Sound's good its an issue on you're end boss.
I’ve just went into incognito mode on safari and the website worked. Also noticed at the top of the address bar in the left hand side it says “not secure” im thinking it could be a possible firewall issue?

That is because you don't have SSL certification through your domain provider. SSL is "https" and not "http" all "http" links are not secure.

Not really, the "not secure" on the top bar left hand side indicates that your site is not secured by HTTPS (https://) , and your previous problem might as well caused by your end, which probably from network caching issue.

Ahh okay lol.. Well i guess I'm stuck. If i turn off my wifi on my phone and go into incognito mode i can access the site.. If i hotspot my mac and go into incognito mode i can access the site. But any other way won't let me use it.. Even on the virtual machine.. i cleared the cache and used google chrome and still the same thing

Sounds like a DNS problem on your end. Usually works again after 48 hours at least, try flushing the DNS on your machine or restarting your router.
