Using %user% in the client

Ok let me explain, I remember a long time ago that when you wanted the username of a user appear on the hotel welcome message, you have to put something like %user% but now that I try that it does not work. Im using phoenix latest build with revcms and phoenix database. In other words I want to make a welcome message that appears when you connect to the client and says something like Welcome back to the hotel kenicko.
If it where another player it is suppose to say its username. Can anyone help me with this and thank you

Well it doesn't work in mottos so I highly doubt it works on there, you can only use it on the loading bit of the client as that's written on the client.php page

It doesn't but you can make it say the users name in the Client loading

To be honest I think you can make it in the client Just gotta edit the SWF
