Using two vps's to host a hotel?

Hi, I want to move my emulator to it's own server to prevent lag and that.
How would i go on about doing this?
Here is what i was going to try:
Basically just moving the emulator over and leaving all the ips the same.
Will the emulator still connect? I've never done this before.
If you can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I'll give it a go, going to be using a proxy by the time i grab another vps,
Should i still use the old vps ip in the emulator config then?

Prefer using your new IP. Remember change ip in client.php and get proxies

For emulator and client.php use emulators vps ip, then at website config use your website vps

urm no? just make sure your emu can connect to the database (allow port 3306 on CMS/SWF VPS)

Its super easy. Chang he your IP in your client.php and swfs. Then make sure your emulator is working correct.

So basically, I have to keep the vps ip i'll be hosting the cms on in the cms configuration & the new vps ip which i have the emulator on in the client & emulator configuration?
How is it going to connect to the database if i'm using the new vps ip in the emu config?

Well you dont need a new db being the db on navicat can be accessed on any computer. It will still work and run fine.

Just make sure the emulator connects to the same port of the CMS Client then it should work. You dont need navicat on your emulator server but it would be better as it makes more sense? CMS and SWFS. EMU and DB. But its your option. Having issues? Private message me.
