Tutorial on creating/coding an emulator?

I've searched around can't seem to find anything that's decent.. Though I did find some YouTube videos:

Whether those are any good or not I don't know, but there not very "Noob friendly" so to speak, so if anyone knows of any that are a little easier and better to understand if you could post them here it would be much appreciated as it could help a lot of people :3..

You have to learn a language that suits coding the emulator.
E.g, C# / Java

I Agree with CookieMonsta. You can't really watch a Tutorial on how to 'Create' an Emulator. You need to have Knowledge of a Programming Language such as C#, Javascript, etc.

It's an extremely difficult thing to do. A tutorial on doing this is extremely unlikely as most of it has to be your own knowledge.

After all, if it was easy - every one would do it.

Just thought I'd let you know that Javascript isn't a programming language and you infact cannot create an emulator with it.

Would you suggest looking at sources of emu's to look at what's used in there, and how they are structured etc..
