Hosting PHPRetroDcrs..
Hello guys, have you ever wondered how to host PHPretro DCRS, because the pre-hosted ones you have don't work? Well, here's the guide how to!
1. Downloading the Dcrs.
> Of-course you will need the DCRS, Download them here:
Okay, now put your DCRS onto your desktop, (Extract them)
And make a folder on htdocs named 'dcr' and put the DCRS into that folder
2. Editing the Dcrs.
Okay, now. Go onto external_text.txt in htdocs > dcr
THEN, Hit Control + H, Which will lead you to a Replace a word.
You want to Replace '%predefined%' with 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1' whatever you want, but please keep it the same for the rest of this tutorial, and PLEASE remember it.
Now, Save external_text.txt and go onto external_vars.txt
Again, hit Control + H And replace '192.168.0.105' THEN '%predefined%' with 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1'
Then save that page.
Housekeeping.
Now, go onto Housekeeping
Go onto Settings > Hotel, which will lead you to the DCR page
Change the Dcr Boxes to :
External Texts:
localhost/dcr/external_text.txt
or
127.0.0.1/dcr/external_text.txt
External Vars:
localhost/dcr/external_vars.txt
or
127.0.0.1/dcr/external_vars.txt
Dcr:
localhost/dcr/habbo.dcr
or
127.0.0.1/dcr/habbo.dcr
And there you have your own Hosted DCRS!
