What is trollimage?​

Trollimage is a fast, reliable image host. We aim to give you 99% uptime on all of your uploads and take regular back-ups. We bring you an easy to use upload interface with clear HTML, BB code and Direct Links for the publishing of your image.​

What is coming?​

We are working on getting a small user system so you can keep track of your own images. We do are soon adding a short url function which will be available for trollimage.com users.​

​

You can find up to 10 latest files in the gallery, however this function will soon be improved. If you wish to view more than just the 10 latest images an option will be added at the end of the page so that you can view all files ever uploaded instead.​

For some reason it's started to be very slow lately. However, there is new systems awaiting. I'm currently working on a usersystem which will include an album function aswell! Still debating if we're in need of a private messaging system, but there will come comments. I am also looking for a new host, as the problem might lay at trollimage's current hosting.

We might need someone who are willing to take on the task to delete images that contains pornographic or illegal material (e.g child porn and jailbait). However, i will not open any positions until i have finished the new systems.

I will also take a little longer on the new systems than expected as i've started on a file hosting site aswell. However, I'm soon continuing on the brand new software.

Can you make it so we can see every uploaded file? You don't need to make this public but I would enjoy having this access..

Also something we're working on, however. You'll only be able to view images you have uploaded. However, to make it more fun i will still work on the 10 latest images function. When i'm finished with it you'll be able to view all images ever uploaded that is non-private.

Razor, I can provide fast hosting from niffumhost.co.uk for free if you want. Also, can I work on some of the php. I can totally cancel out the file exists error by creating a folder with the exact date in milliseconds and putting the file in that folder.

I think that the current systems are good enough for a while, and i'd gladly take up on that offer. My current hosting is making it slow as i have several other sites on the same webhost. In another hand, completely new systems are on their way, so filenames will be shorter, users will be able to view their images, and MIGHT eventually be able to register when i've finished a usersystem.

If it suddenly starts to slow down, thatd be my first thought. Specially since the logs will gum up.

I am 100% sure that it is the webhost. The entire site is affected, and only the uploads are MySQL connected. I can't find any problems with the MySQL database either.

Anyways, i'm looking for someone with MacOS X Lion that is interested in creating an application for trollimage on iOS. Anyone interested in that position? (You don't need iOS Developer as i've got a friend to release the app on his. If you do have it it'll be great) Which means i am now looking for a new developer!

We've now moved to a new host. thanks to niffumhost for supporting us!

We are also back online, but some of the features need to be fixed by me later. You can still upload files though! Feel free to go do so.
