Because people have no access to the source code and try to figure out it's weaknesses. I bet it'll be on par with Android on exploits if Apple isn't greedy and put the OS out to the public already.

Greedy? There is a difference between greed, and philosophy. iOS is still 100x more secure, so I guess you'll have to live with that.

I've heard that the 16GB iPhone 6 is cheaper than the 16GB iPhone 5s. So that's really good.
