System32 Folder Deleted.

So I Was In The Kitchen when my sister decides to play with mah old lappy.
so she deletes folders. and suddenly. everythings fucked up.
do i reinstall windows?

You can't delete system32 without being system administrator and on windows XP...

Depends on the situation, if it's something like System32 you'll probably need to wipe the disk and reinstall. That is correct.

you'll have to reinstall but the files on there are probably going to be removed.

But yes I recommend wiping, but remember to backup your current files on an external hard drive.

You can reinstall without wiping your files. Windows stores your old Windows files (everything in the disk you are to install) in X:\Windows.old directory in which you can retrieve your files again, but you cannot use your older programs and have to reinstall them.
