So a lot of people know Steam and maybe some of you heard about the new "Steam Box". The idea is to bring Big Picture as a console to use on your TV with a controller.

Anyways, now I've seen this I am all for this, IF the price is right. Especially if games such as Day-Z standalone is to be on it. Hopefully it'll be as good as it sounds.

The specs are better than my PC, shiz. That'll provide great performance!

I guess its a big advantage for the people with lower quality pc's that can't handle games all too well.

I think it will be great as it will allow people to play games they have downloaded on their PC.
It will also allow cross-platform gaming (steam console to steam PC), i think this console could go far.

Along with the OUYA, i am considering to get one of these aswell

What about wireless, do they mention anything?

I'm not a fan of running an Ethernet cable across my room and don't feel like going under the floors/in the walls as I move my room around a lot.

I think they include wireless, lol. It has a i7 processor etc. but not wireless? That would be a shame.

I'd consider getting it just to try it out, even though I can play any Steam game on my PC perfectly fine.

Steam box sounds nice.
They should release the OS too for Open source or preferring it on your PC.

I would buy it if:

1. I had a TV that wasn't connected to my PC,
2. If it ran Anno 2070 and Settlers.

It sounds like a nice little idea.
