Minecraft tends to Freeze, or get really laggy, and people usually blame that on the server! But it's not usually because of the server, but because Minecraft doesn't have enough RAM for it to process. Here I will show you how to Start Minecraft with more ram!
Step one:
Download Minecraft Launcher from here:
Step two:
Start the Minecraft Launcher you downloaded, select the amount of RAM you want it to use (usually use about 1/2GB (512MB) less than your computer's max) and click "Browse" and find and select your Minecraft.exe (or Minecraft.jar)
Step three:
Click "Launch" and login and play!
This may or may not help you depending on the amount of RAM you allocate to Minecraft, try using Optifine to boost your FPS (
Enjoy!
