all the details i put in are 100% correct yet when i type in localhost it says MySQL could not connect to host , any ideas?

Yea, its being weird. It never happened, ever.

I'm on the vps right now, It's saying Failed to connect to the specified MYSQL Server. Everything is right , it connected to Navicat like nothing. So the password is right 100% I tried couple of CMS , REVCMS, BrainCMS, and so on.

What version of MySQL are you using?

use MySQL 5.5, if anything you didnt do MySQL or you didn't add it correctly in the config.

Possible to not have added port to firewall? Not sure but worth checking. Post your config. Just use **** for password and database and IP
