Where did you get $60 from?

I never seen proxies sold for more than 30€ in the scene, if some1 came to me asking for a reverse proxy I would charge them 20€ to do it. Its a relatively easy task.

Also people are allowed to do what ever they want with their own money. Such a weird take being like "dont open a hotel if u not a developer".

If this was a reflection of reality anyways, most companies in the world wouldn't exist either? in the modern world most companies has a tech department, if they couldn't setup their internal systems, website, software themselves, should they then just not exist? There's multiple factors not only in the real world but also to running a virtual hotel, for some reason people fail to understand that, even after being in the scene for decade or more.

This whole "its habbo you need to be an expert at everything, else gtfo from the 'insiders' community" mentallity is so far fetched and skewed.

If you had clicked the Discord link, you'd see that we currently do not offer Proxy servers until we fill a specific position for that particular "setup." Additionally, the starting price for our setups is $60, which covers all the essentials to get you started. This information is clearly outlined on our website: "Our budget-friendly prices start at $60 USD, making quality retro setups accessible to everyone." There is no mention of a "PROXY" service anywhere on the website.

In any case, we are still actively searching for someone interested in taking on this side hustle opportunity.

I can say with 100% confidence that $60 is absolutely piss all for the work that RetroSetups do. I've literally just had a hotel put up for me by them and they've done nothing but assist me through any queries I had. @Puffin and @Derpec are easily some of the most helpful people I've come across in all my years playing retros and even formerly owning one. - (I was 12, I don't wanna talk about it xD) But honestly, they're so polite and actually work with you as a client, so they've got my 100% support. If you're not with them, you're against them, and fairly honest, I'll be standing with them 24/7.

People using a service from any vendor get access to dozens of tutorials on how to do and change things on their hotel, things not posted to anyone anywhere and left to be asked about in help sections and left unsolved… so yeah, in a way we do help people like that we just take a more practical approach to it.

We also don’t just do setups, but I mean we’re not bleeding anyone’s pocket dry if they voluntarily send money for something but whatever is going on in that skewed head of yours, sure. We offer a variety of startup services and have many well known vendors in the community doing other things considered an essential startup service, like graphic work for example.

Your back door comment is ridiculous, because what would I have to gain from doing something like that? Ruined reputation and relationship with people in the community? All for a hotel using default assets I already installed that is more than likely a startup educational project for the person paying for it as they couldn’t do it on their own??? PLEASE!

I have a genuine passion for Habbo and this dying community and I’m not out to spoil it for anyone lmao.. that said it is also my time and knowledge which shouldn’t be free, Anywho, lord knows I spent the last year giving back and helping the community but you have got to value your worth otherwise you’re constantly walked over and taken advantage . You learn that real quick.

In such a case, if the customer already has a VPS, the setup cost would be reduced to $50, which is significantly more affordable compared to some other providers who charge well over $100. This price doesn't even include the cost of a VPS or domain.

I can't quite understand why there might be any negativity or criticism towards our service just because we've ventured into something unique that others haven't explored yet. Is it possibly due to jealousy or other factors? It's unclear, but we've already received requests for graphics work and even sold a retro setup to a satisfied customer, so the pricing can't be too unreasonable, can it?

Moving on, I'd like to refocus the discussion and reiterate that we're still actively seeking a TCP Proxy Specialist for our team.

Yes cloudflare handles WS, issue is they multiple times a day terminates WS connections, leaving some or all users with random disconnections every time they do so - This is where the proxy they and other offers come into play

There will always be people complaining about others offering paid services. It doesn't make sense but sadly it's like this.

But i don't think your prices are unfair, since you are including all those custom written guides of yours - essentially allowing people to save money in the long run, by being able to manage their own hotel to certain extends.
