Resizing an image for desktop background?

Heyo.
I'm trying to figure out how to resize my sites logo for use as my desktop background and I'm hopeless when it comes to graphics. Is anyone able to help me out in this situation, or even better, PM me if you're able to do it yourself. I've been trying myself with no avail and I'm getting rather frustrated by it.

PNG, I'll be able to get the PSD for it in a few hours if it's easier to do.

I understand you've got it yourself but for future reference, drop it into photoshop with the canvas size of your liking. Shift click the corner and resize till it fits the canvas. The power of photoshop should resize all the pixels for you.
